Track 17 – Faded – ZHU (2014)
This is one of those times when you think you discovered something only to find it has over 30 million views in various forms on YouTube, was a number 1 hit in the UK, US and Polish dance charts and was nominated for a Grammy.
I guess that what happens when you find your new music in a David Lloyd Gym Spin class. Not exactly the place for cutting-edge music discovery, but it went frickin’ well in that spin class and ace to run to.
I’m a sucker for a good bassline and the drop at 0.38 and again 1.42 in this track is filthy and rolls all the way through the track tapping at a nice beat to keep your feet plodding along.
Get some good earphones and pop this bad boy on!
