An absolute classic from Thomas Bangalter (one half of Daft Punk), fellow French DJ and producer Alan Braxe (who collaborated with Fred Falke on the excellent Intro) and vocalist Benjamin Diamond.
Sampled from Chaka Khan early 80s track, Fate, the track was made in 2 days and was the only release from the trio, even though Bangalter offered $3 million to do an album. Daft Punk released their seminal album Discovery a few years later. Also, another tune that only reached No.2 in the UK charts! The track was remastered and re-released in June 2019 and became available to stream for the first time.
The definitive French synth-disco tune you just can’t help but dance to, and throw your hands and finger in the air. It must be the ultimate DJ set rescue tune. It takes me back to the summer between my 2nd and 3rd years at university, on Friday nights out when it is all I wanted to hear. Enjoy.
