Shine – The Space Brothers(1997)

One of those tunes that takes you to a very specific time and place. This one is the late 90s, when trance music was at its apex and euphoric track like this sent goose bumps rippling down your spine and your hands shooting up in the air.

From a British duo who made tunes under a number of monikers including other classics – Everytime by Lustral and Someone by Ascension.

The start is nothing special but the break around the minute mark is out of this world. With no beats the haunting vocals start and then the layers are added, and it just keeps building and building. Then it just goes off with an epic drop and soaring chords.

This trance Hall of Famer has a positive message and is an absolute stomper to run to.
