Track 14 – It Feels So Good – Sonique (1998/2000)
I first heard of Sonique as a DJ in the 90s, who used to sing over the top of the tracks she played. I bought her first single “I Put a Spell on You”
She when globally with the release of “It Feels So Good” and subsequently retired from Djing.
The song went to Number 1 in 8 countries and Top Ten in another 19 including Canada, USA, Germany, Poland, France, Italy and Spain.
On a relisten to this track, it is mellower and less dancey that I remember, which is probably part of its huge popularity.
To be super cheesy, this track does just make you “feel so good”. Definitely a goosebump inducer.
You have probably heard it, you probably love it and it will have you floating along on its sliky beats and vocals.
