The price of entry to big races is getting expensive. Everyone wants great locations, closed roads, clinical organisation, loads of toilets, goody bags and big medals.
The price to enter the London 10 mile was £44 and then they also sneaked on a £2.53 processing fee! Something that’s common and really annoying for music gigs, but nothing I’ve come across at running events. It didn’t stop me or plenty of others though. The built up
In my post a few weeks ago, I stated that the wheels have come off in a couple of my runs. 3 miles felt like too much!
The Richmond Half had crept up on me and I didn’t feel I was in shape. Over the last few weeks, I got as many quality runs in as I could, in the hope my legs would come back. I did some mini duathalons – 7 miles home on the bike, a quick change and then a 6-mile run.
